Ali Reza Mahimani

Ali Reza Mahimani

Ali Reza Mahimani, born on July 22nd 1975, with the artistic name of "Shervin", lives in Gorgan and has special mental conditions. He has been accepted at the Behkoush Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Center of Gorgan since 2007, and after completing the kilim weaving and jajim weaving training courses, he entered the music workshop of this center due to his interest and talent in music.
While attending the workshop, he was able to take a Recorder course and learn to sing. He is currently working as a singer in the Choral (Tenor) section of the Special Orchestra of Iran and has been named "the most honest member of the group" for his constant honesty.

Amir Hossein Gholami

Amir Hossein Gholami

Amir Hossein Gholami, born on September 5th 2000 under the stage name of "Aref", has special mental conditions and lives in Gorgan. He was admitted to Behkoush Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Center of Gorgan from 5 years ago. And after completing his elementary classes of mosaic, due to his great interest in music, he studied at the center’s music workshop with Bells and Wibrafon. And about 5 months ago, he started learning violin with the trainers at the Behkoush Center.
He has been named as the "collaborator of the group" due to his sense of responsibility and helping his friends in the camps. He is currently working as a musician for Bells and Wibrafon in the Special Orchestra of Iran.

Siamak Askari

Siamak Askari

Siamak Askari, as the "sweetest member of the band", was born on Jun 25th 1973 and lives in Gorgan.
Siamak has been studying music at the Tombak and Cajón sections of the Behkoush Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Center of Gorgan for nearly 10 years, and has also taught kilim weaving at the center.
One of his other abilities in the field of music is improvisation, which has made him stand out from other members of the band. As a theater actor, he has participated in several international theater festivals for the disabled, such as "Waiting for Godot" by the Behkoush Center, and has won many awards as an actor.

Azam Sheikh-veisy

Azam Sheikh-veisy

Azam Sheikh-veisy with the stage name of Ava is known as the “Cheerful member of the band” and was born on May 5th, 1991. She lives in Gonbad, a city in Golestan province, and she is in singing (Choral) section of the Special national orchestra.
Despite the visual problems, she has graduated with a Bachelor degree in psychology, and due to her special interest in music she has been an active member of the Gonbad blind society band’s singing section for several years and still she practices under sound and solfeggio trainers’ supervision such as Mr. Milad Jafar-nezhad and Ms. .... in Gonbad she is learning about singing techniques.

Elmira Khalilzadeh

Elmira Khalilzadeh

Elmira Khalilzadeh ,with the stage name of “Baran”, lives in Shiraz and is one of Special orchestra’s Recorder players.
She was born on December 1996, and has started to learn Recorder in Aseman music school in Shiraz since 8 years ago. Also she has been a member of Asemaniha band in Shiraz for 4 years, and currently she has started learning to play Daf for almost a year, and beside being a member of Special Orchestra of Iran, she is a member of Shiraz Deldadegan daf navaz band.
Elmira, who has been named "the most diligent member of the band", in addition to music, has a special interest in sports, especially badminton, and works under the supervision of sports coaches in this field.

Farid Zahedi

Farid Zahedi

Farid Zahedi was born on December 2nd 1995 and lives in Gorgan. Having a special mental condition and autism, he started learning the Recorder at the age of 6 and spent a few years recognizing the notes and initial exercises in this instrument. Then, at the age of 18, after graduating with a degree in computer science from the Behkoush Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Center of Gorgan, he was accepted into a music workshop and completed his Recorder learning.
Named "the most handsome member of the band", he is one of Iran’s special Olympic athletes in the field of track and field and is very interested in martial arts such as taekwondo.

Mehdi Safari Rad

Mehdi Safari Rad

Mehdi Safari Rad, born on November 24th 1987, lives in Gorgan and is the "quietest member of the group" in the Special Orchestra of Iran.
For the past eight years, Mehdi has been training music with the music instructors at the Behkoush Center, and after learning to play the Flute, he learned Classical Guitar and Bass Guitar.
He is currently the Bassist in the band and, despite his mental problems, has made every effort to succeed in playing.

Armia Mehdi-tabar-shouraki

Armia Mehdi-tabar-shouraki

Armia Mehdi-tabar-shouraki was born on August 30th, 2005 in Babolsar. He began to learn piano under Mr. Mehrdad Sayareh’s supervision since he was five.
Dear Armia, who is known as the “Most creative member of the band”, has special visual condition (complete blindness) and also has brittle bone disease (Osteogenesis Imperfecta). but with all the constraints he is known as a dexterous and powerful piano player in his age group.
Apart from music, his most important interests are in swimming, chess and English language; by making a diligent effort he is comprehensively learning and progressing in all of these fields.

Ali Reza Rahmani

Ali Reza Rahmani

Ali Reza Rahmani, born on March 26th 1978, has special mental conditions. He has been accepted as a client in Behkoush Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Center of Gorgan for many years. He then married in 1998 and now has two sons, aged 18 and 15. Therefore he has been titled as “The most father member of the band”
At the same time, he benefited from the music workshop of the Behkoush Rehabilitation Center, during which he first learned to play the Recorder and then to play the Melodica. Currently, Ali Reza, under the stage name of "Kourosh", works as a Melodica musician in the Special Orchestra of Iran.

Amir Hossein Naderipoor

Amir Hossein Naderipoor

Amir Hossein Naderipoor, born on November 29th 1993 and lives in Gorgan, is one of the Recorder players in the Special Orchestra of Iran.
He has been described as "the most arranged member of the band" with special mental conditions (Down syndrome). since 7 years ago he has been studying music and learning Recorder in Behkoush Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Center, he has also been learning Clarinet from coaches at the Behkoush Center for nearly a year.
In addition, he is very interested in sports, especially football, and is a fan of the Iranian Persepolis team, and during his time at the Behkoush Center as a special Olympic champion in the national and West Asian competitions in Egypt, he won second and third place in athletics.
Amir Hossein, who plays under the stage name "Hafez" in the Special Orchestra, has also gained experience in the field of theater acting and has played a role in the play "Waiting for Godot", which is considered to be the best play at the Theater Festival for the Disabled.

Bradia Askari

Bradia Askari

Bradia Askari, born on January 29th 1999, as the "most sincere" member of the Special Orchestra of Iran, is an exceptional school diploma and individual with special mental needs and autism. He lives in Shiraz and plays the instruments of Cajón, Choubak and Tumba in the band.
For 4 years, he was a member of the Asemaniha band (Aseman Music Institute) in Shiraz, and along with this group, he has performed in Shiraz, Mashhad, Isfahan, Kish and Russia. At present, in addition to being a member of the Special Orchestra, he is also collaborating with the Shiraz Deldadegan’ band for additional training in playing the Cajón.
His most important interests are going to the cinema, theater and music concerts. Bardia is also a fan of football, especially the Esteqlal football team in Iran.

Benjamin Aqatabai

Benjamin Aqatabai

Benjamin Aqatabai, born on August 9th 1991, is a Turkmen resident of Gonbad Kavous, Golestan Province. From the age of 4, he suffered from vision problems due to illness due to consanguineous marriage and gradually lost his sight completely. Then, at the age of 10, he started studying at Shahid Bahonar Gonbad School and went to Shahid Mohebbi Blind Complex in Tehran to continue his education in middle school and high school and received his diploma in computer science.
It was at this time that the dramatic changes in his life took place, and he was able to become acquainted with music and computers, and to advance in the field of Golbal and Karate. Then, through one of his professors, he became acquainted with the Classical Guitar instrument and at the same time learned to play the sound and Solfège.
He was able to graduate from Mazandaran University with a bachelor’s degree in law with his will and perseverance, and he is trying to achieve this success by passing the Advocacy exam.
Benjamin is currently working as both a classical and pop guitar player and as a singer (solo, choral) in the Special Orchestra of Iran, and at the same time he is active in composing poetry and songs. Because he has always felt full responsibility for advancing individual and group exercises in the vocal section, he has helped the band leader, he is known as the "most responsible member of the band."

Yadegar Fathi

Yadegar Fathi

Yadegar Fathi, born on August 23th 1979, born in Kamyaran, one of the cities of Kurdistan. He started playing the Keyboard when he was young, and due to his great interest in progress in the field of playing and composing, in 2003 he went to East Azerbaijan province with two of his friends to learn the art of composing from one of the masters of this art who lived in the city of Mahabad. But unfortunately, their car crashed and since then he suffered from spinal cord injury at the age of 24.
After spending very difficult days in the field of physical and mental problems, he was able to create a new life for himself with an unwavering will. In this regard, first with the cooperation of one of his friends, he set up a music store in Kamyaran and then, in order to continue his studies in the field of music, he went to Tehran and was able to take the bachelor’s degree by taking the Tehran Conservatory exam and passing the study courses of learning the instruments of Violin and Flute.
During these years, in addition to collaborating with several chamber orchestras, since 2015, he has been a member of the Tehran Flute Choir, led by Ms. Firoozeh Navai, and has accompanied the band in several performances, including the performance of Rudaki Hall.
The Special Orchestra of Iran met him in the band’s first performance in Tehran and after that, he started working with the band as a flute and Keyboard player. Then, in September 2019, he emigrated from Tehran to Gorgan with his wife and son, and since then he has been working and helping the music workshop clients as one of behkoush center’s music instructors in the field of wind instruments, Piano and Violin. Due to his great character and equanimity he has titled as “The most cultured member of the band”.

Taktam Farid

Taktam Farid
Taktam Farid was born on November 10th 1990 in Mashhad. In 1999, due to being released on the street, through a court order and a letter from the admissions and coordination department, she was diagnosed with special mental conditions and absolute blindness, and in order to benefit from rehabilitation and maintenance services, she was accepted at Hamdam Rehabilitation Charity institute of Mashhad.
Her parents have divorced and her father is a drug addict. Her mother has took her responsibility and her 3 other siblings and she visit her time to time.
Taktam Farid, who is known to have "the most beautiful voice of the band" and sings in the voice section of Alto, has interest in all genres of music and with all the limitations, she learn lyrics and melodies well, and so far she had several performances with prominent artists in the country, including Mr. Homayoun Shajarian.

Mahtab Al-Abbasian

Mahtab Al-Abbasian

Mahtab Al-Abbasian was born on December 6th 1997, living in Mashhad. Due to bad parenting problems, she was introduced to Judicial Supervision Circle by Social Emergency, and she was sheltered for a while in Resalat, Khaneh Fereshtegan and Shirkhargah centers. and on April 5th 2012 with the diagnosis of special mental conditions for benefiting from rehabilitation and maintenance services, she was accepted in Hamdam Charity Rehabilitation institute of Mashhad.
Since her age was not suitable for entering school at first, she participated in a comprehensive education plan and with the help of the literacy movement, she is receiving a third grade degree so that she can continue her education in adult schools after completing further education and obtaining the sixth elementary degree. She is currently employed by Saffron Mostafavi Company in Mashhad and is very successful.
Mahtab is very capable artistically and in addition to singing, she is skilled in playing Percussion instruments, especially Daf and Damam. She has also been active in the field of theater acting and has won many awards at various theater festivals for the disabled for herself and Hamdam Charity institute.
She sings in the Special Orchestra of Iran in the Choral (Soprano) section, and the pleasantness of her voice and social ethics is obvious to everyone.

Shaqayeq Geramian

Shaqayeq Geramian
Shaqayeq Geramian was born on March 27th 1995, lives in Mashhad and is a singer in the Choral (Alto) section of the Special Orchestra of Iran. Due to being released on the street and through the letter of introduction of the Department of Supervision and the Department of Admission and Coordination of the State welfare organization on August 16th 2001, with the diagnosis of special mental conditions to benefit from rehabilitation and maintenance services, she was admitted to Hamdam Rehabilitation Charity institute in Mashhad, She studied until the 12th Adult School and is currently working for the Mostafavi Saffron Company.
In addition to her singing ability, Shaghayegh is also a Daf player and has a great creativity in drawing and painting, story writing and calligraphy.

Samira Shahbazi

Samira Shahbazi

Samira Shahbazi, born in Shiraz in April 1982, started playing the piano at the age of 12. She has Down Syndrome and has special mental conditions. She persevered to get her diploma in work and knowledge, and while learning the Piano over the years, she also learned other arts such as painting and created beautiful works. She is also a swimming champion in the Iranian Special Olympics and a very good photographer.
Samira is a member of the Maracas Orchestra for the Special Orchestra of Iran and also plays the Piano solo.

Neda Bolaq Shahraki

Neda Bolaq Shahraki

Neda Bolaq Shahraki, born on March 1st 1984, is from Gorgan and has special vision conditions. As a child, she was interested in music, especially singing, and worked in the school choir during her school years, which lasted until graduation.
As a teenager, due to her acquaintance with one of the guitarists, she was able to learn the guitar to some extent in the introductory stage, and with his encouragement, her hopes for progress in the field of music increased. Traveling to the south of Iran and living there for two years took her away from artistic activities to some extent, but after returning, she met one of the masters of Iranian music and because of her ability to perform vocal pieces, she joined Adak, a choral group.
Neda, who sings under the stage name "Helia", has been a member of the group since 1995 and has won positions in several singing festivals. She is also professionally trained in sports, especially Taekwondo. She was introduced to the Special Orchestra of Iran through the Adak group at the beginning of 2019. Since then, she has been active in this group in the singing section (soprano) and is considered as "the most fashionable member of the band".

Neda Fakourian Farzin
Neda Fakourian was born on March 21st 2002 in Mashhad. She was left in the hospital by her parents, and due to lack of family identification, through the letter of introduction to the Department of Supervision and the Office of State welfare Admission and Coordination, and with diagnosis of special mental conditions, in order to benefit from maintenance and rehabilitation services, she was accepted in Hamdam Rehabilitation Charity institute of Mashad.
She has absolute blindness in one eye and has problems with glaucoma. Her other eye is also being treated and cared for. However, she was able to successfully study at the Taqwa School for the Blind in the sixth grade (exceptional).
With great love for the better future, Neda is seriously pursuing her studies. She plays an important role in the art of theater, music and singing among Hamdam’s girls, and in the Special Orchestra of Iran, she sings as the "kindest member of the band" in the choral (alto) section. She is also learning Tombak because of her talent for playing Percussion instruments. She is known for her good morals and self-esteem.

Morteza Qasemi

Morteza Qasemi

Morteza Qasemi, born in 1989 in Noor city, has special mental conditions and autism.
He is one of the best singers, especially in the "Bass" section. He has a diploma from an exceptional school. Since 2012, he has been accepted at Parvin Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Center in Noor city and in addition to singing, he has been trained in Mosaic.
Mr. Mousavi, Mrs. Parvin’s husband, has been in charge of teaching the notes and melodies of the pieces, and since his membership in the Special Orchestra of Iran, he has been responsible for many efforts in this field.
Due to his lovable behavior, Mehrzad has been one of the most popular personalities among the members of the band, and therefore he has earned the title of "the most lovable member of the band."

Hadi Mohammad Alizadeh

Hadi Mohammad Alizadeh

Hadi Mohammad Alizadeh, born on October 2rd 1982 in Rasht, currently works as a Drummer in the Special Orchestra of Iran.
He studied until the sixth grade of elementary school in the exceptional school of Rasht and then joined the futsal team of the State welfare office of this city due to his interest in sports, he then joined the Paralympic national football team and traveled with the team to countries such as Turkey, Tunisia and China, where he won the title of “The Top Scorer” at the Tunisian Games.
In addition to learning Percussion, he also has extensive experience and successes in theater and cinema. Among these successes is winning first place in many theater festivals for the disabled and acting in 3 movies.
Hadi married in 2008 and currently works as a music teacher at a rehabilitation center.

Dear Haniyeh Hasanpour, is an artist with special visual condition, was born in 2007 in Bandar Abas city, and is a member of Hormozgan’s association of blinds and is active in the vocal group of this province.
